Anthony Cudahy | Toward the Light: Artists for the Ali Forney Center

Hales is pleased to announce Anthony Cudahy’s participation in Toward the Light: Artists for the Ali Forney Center at David Zwirner, New York, USA.

 

Anthony Cudahy has donated, Ian holding a pearl, 2025 to Toward the Light, a group exhibition to benefit the Ali Forney Center, organized in collaboration with Stephen Truax and on view at David Zwirner’s 519 West 19th Street location. The exhibition will open on Tuesday, 28 October and will remain on view through Saturday, 1 November.

 

Toward the Light will raise vital funds to support the Ali Forney Center’s mission to protect LGBTQ+ youth from homelessness in New York City. This exhibition marks the third annual fundraiser for the Ali Forney Center.

 

Cudahy is a figurative painter whose tender scenes reveal the nuanced complexities of life. In masterful compositions he creates a world for unspoken stories, intimate moments and romantic gestures. Personal and poetic, Cudahy's figures coalesce with the atmosphere of their environments in fluid brushstrokes.
