Hales is pleased to share Sunil Gupta and Charan's Singh's exhibition Unruly Desires - Reframing the Past at Leamington Spa Museum and Gallery, on view through 6 September 2026.
The exhibition features Gupta’s New Pre-Raphaelites series and Singh’s The Promise of Beauty series. Through the photographic studio portrait, both Gupta and Singh explore and disrupt ideas relating to the canon of western art, queerness, the gaze, love and intimacy.
The exhibition also features brand-new work created by both artists within the Pump Rooms spaces, and these new works are inspired by objects and pictures from the Leamington Spa Art Gallery & Museum Collection.
