Hales Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of the Michael Smith: USA Free-Style Disco Championship at South London Gallery, Tuesday 8 December - Sunday 13 December. A slide installation documents Michael Smith’s classic 1979 performance dance-off, as he competes for the title in the USA Free-Style Disco Championship at the legendary Copacabana nightclub in New York City.
