Trenton Doyle Hancock | Makeshift | John Michael Kohler Arts Center

Hales Gallery is excited to announce the inclusion of work by Trenton Doyle Hancock in the exhibition Makeshift. A collaboration between the John Michael Kohler Arts Center and artist and curator Michelle Grabner, this exhibition explores one of the most important spaces for an artist—the studio. Through site-specific installations, Makeshift examines the role of the studio in contemporary art practices.

Makeshift will open with a reception on Saturday 22 September, which will include a one-off performance with local artist John Riepenhoff who will be collaborating with the exhibited artists.
