Please join us at Hales London on Saturday 2nd March 2019, at 3:30 pm for a conversation between Andrew Bick and art historian, critic and curator Alison Green to mark the occasion of the final day of Bick’s exhibition Concrete-Disco-Systems.
The event also celebrates the launch of a new limited-edition print by Andrew Bick, produced by The Invisible Print Studio.
A 2006 work by the artist was vandalised with defamatory words inscribed in to a grey area of wax on the painting’s surface. Documenting the damage, Bick compiled the record in a grid of seven halftone images, digitally printed to form the ground for this new screen print.
In an edition of 30, the print will be available for purchase at the gallery, alongside an editioned pocket square produced in collaboration with Drake’s Menswear as a tribute to the often-overlooked artist Marlow Moss. All proceeds from the print and pocket square will support Andrew Bick’s new monograph, being published with Museum Haus Konstuktiv, Zurich, by Hatje Canz, in 2019.
