Hales is delighted to announce the unveiling of Trenton Doyle Hancock's public sculpture, Undom Endgle (Undom Endgle and the Mound Meat Cycle), 2022, at the Miami Worldcenter.

 

Hancock uses a flux of artistic endeavour to fuse together a world and reality that he can both occupy and constantly modify. In short, he creates his own personal narrative between good and evil. Each new work serves as a progressive contribution to this saga portraying the birth, death, afterlife and dreamlike states of a range of characters, particularly the Mounds (half-animal, half-plant like creatures) and their aggressors.

 

Undom Endgle is the first female superhero in Hancock's pantheon, and the most powerful being in the Moundverse. Undom is the reincarnated soul of Mound #1 the Legend, and evolved into a warrior goddess whose job is to protect the Mounds. She presides over the Everydaycare Center, where the Souls of departed mounds play eternal games.
