On the North Rim (2021) depicts the Grand Canyon, from the viewpoint of the North Rim. An infamous site of great beauty, its depth and expanse are felt in this painting. The delicate pattern is inspired by a basket design from the Moapa band of the Paiute tribe — renowned for basket weaving skills. This pattern was researched in the collections of the National Museum of the American Indian, Washington D.C.
